M.T. Swift is a suburban dad who, after nearly hitting rock bottom, found his voice in writing dark and grounded fiction. Between rural revisionist westerns and short psychological horror, he writes what he hopes helps others navigate the toughest aspects of life.
M.T. is a Kansas State alumnus with a degree in Social Sciences, and is currently working toward a Master’s in History. His most recent accomplishment is winning Fan Favorite in Butler Community College’s 2025 Flash Fiction Horror Contest with “Author’s Note.”
He’s currently working on In the Name of Heaven, a revisionist western exploring religion as a leash in the 19th century, and Tales from Ashworth County, an anthology of short horror.
